NASA is currently accepting applications for the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate Student Projects opportunity. Students can apply for exploration-related internships or senior design projects for student teams.The ESMD Student Project provides opportunities to involve a diverse group of students (graduate and undergraduate) in substantive, hands-on, engineering experiences to prepare them for future careers in space.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are 18 years or older. Community college, undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
Applications for summer internships are due Jan. 28, 2008. Fall internship applications are due on May 1, 2008.
