100 Women For Paula

As you all know, I had a very busy summer. One of the many projects that I completed was Organizing "100 Women for Paula", a fundraiser for Paula Harris who is pictured in the center of the photo in the red shirt and gray pants. She ran for Houston Independant School Board Trustee, Position 4 and won in the November election. Paula is a native Houstonian. She is my soror. That is, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a diligent and productive community leader. Cheryl Butler who is not pictured, organized the fundraiser along with me.

The photo displays only a small number of the women that contributed to Paula's campaign. We actually had over 100 ladies contribute to the campaign through this effort. This photo was taken at Cafe 4212 which is located at 4212 Almeda. It is an "One Stop Shop" private party venue. Check it out for your next event. Thanks ladies for your support!!!
