Attention Former Praire View Choir Members

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Attention all former Praire View A&M Choir Members especially the 1967 -1968 A CAPPELLA CONCERT CHOIR MEMBERS of Praire View A&M who sang for Dr. Martin Luther King in Memphis, Tennessee.

The choir landed in the arms of CIVIL RIGHTS HISTORY when they met and sang for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tenn. On March 18-19, 2008, we will "Return to Memphis" to complete a documentary of that historical moment. This date also marks the 40th Anniversary of the event. Two former Music Professors Dr. H. Edison Anderson, Sr. Conductor of the A Cappella Choir and Dr. Robert A. Henry, College Choir Director and Music Dept. Chair will be honored.
