Scripture of the Day

VERSE: God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeemthose under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. -- Galatians 4:4-5

THOUGHT: God sent his Son. No one else would do. He had sent prophets,priests, and preachers. Religion remained earthbound, legalistic,and doomed. So God sent what is most precious to him, his Son. Why?So measly human beings such as you and I could be adopted into hisfamily and have the same rights as the Savior, God's Son and ourbrother in the faith!

PRAYER: Thank you, Holy God, for bringing me back into your familythrough your Son. Thank you for not treating me as my sins deserve.Thank you for not leaving me under Law, but redeeming me throughyour grace into a dynamic love relationship as your child. Thankyou for your plan of redemption that wound its way through OldTestament history until the time came to fulfill all your promises.Thank you for sending your Son. In the name of the Lord JesusChrist I thank you. Amen.
